The rigid busbar sliding contact line current collector is an important component in the sliding contact line system. Structure and Working Principle
The rigid busbar sliding contact line current collector is mainly composed of two parts: the tension device of the mechanical structure and the current collecting brush that directly slides and contacts the guide rail. The function of the tension device is to ensure that the sliding contact pressure between the current collecting brush and the guide rail is maintained at an appropriate level, while ensuring the stability of the entire mechanism. The current collecting brush is the conductor that slides and contacts the guide rail to pick up electric energy. Types and Characteristics
There are various types of rigid busbar sliding contact line current collectors, including single-brush and double-brush types, as well as front-mounted and side-mounted types. Different types of current collectors are suitable for different installation requirements and environmental conditions. For example, pure graphite current collectors have strong lubricating performance and are suitable for uneven contact surfaces of sliding contact line copper rails, but have a relatively high replacement frequency; copper plate current collectors have a long service life, but will spark when encountering uneven conditions; alloy carbon brush current collectors combine the advantages of the first two, with stable operation and moderate service life, but have a relatively high production cost.
